Blog EntryWhat women want...Oct 8, '07 10:23 AM
for everyone
Deep inside, we all want a grand fairytale moment, as grand as his love.

Men just don't get it sometimes. Even if we say that we'd be happy with a card, what we mean is that we wish they'd do something grand and romantic anyway--because we deserve it, and because they'd do anything (including proposing on an EDSA billboard) to make us happy. See? even if we've conquered the world, we want them to conquer our hearts. We want them to do something so sobrang-super-extra-kilig that it'll make us blush and giggle like 16-year-olds caught in the throes of adolescent passion: "Oh my he really loves me!"

Thing is, we can't tell them what to do because it'll be less special.

Here are some of the romantic stuffs i have in my mind right now, imma share it to you guys some sweet must-do: hehehe =)

1. Send flowers everyday for two weeks. you can have them delivered to her home, or, even better ask her friends to play Cupid.

2. Reserve a theater for a private screening. And let her choose the movie. Best bet: If Only.

3. Close off a section of a restaurant (or rent a function room or condo deck) and have it filled with flowers and candles.

4. Make her harana.

5. Fill a jar with 365 little slips of paper: some with quotes on them, others bein reasons why you totally adore her. Tell her to pick one piece of paper every morning. "So everyday, the  first thing you think of is how much I love you."

6. Write her a poem.

7. Make a scrapbook showing the history of your relationship. Put in photos and anecdotes. You can even ask friends to write down their  "testimonies" on why you love her a lot, and how her influence has changed  you as a person.

8. Book a KTV room and sing her 10 love songs.

9. Read her poetry.

10. Have a banner printed with "I love you (name of you girl)."

11. Goin to a bar? Ask the band to dedicate a song to you. Or better yet, talk to them days before the date and arrange for you to go up on stage, so you can personally dedicate the song to her--and declare your love for her to the entire room.

12. Going to a restaurant? Talk to the restaurant's service crew. Ask different waiters to go to your table, one by one, and hand her one long-stemmed rose.

13. Put an ad in a billboard (or even a magazine!) declaring how much you love her.

14. Can't afford a billboard? Create a website for her. You can even have mp3s that play love songs as she reads the different pages.

15. Have his-and-hers pendants made. Have your names engraved on them.

16. You may not have set a wedding date but you can still promise forever to each other. Take her to a church and exchange vows in front of the altar. So what if there's no priest? Isn't it more romantic because it's a secret between you, her and God?

17. Prepare a dinner on the rooftop of a condo. Arrange for a string quartet to serenade you as you dine under the stars.

18. Present her a ring hidden in a box of chocolate. mmm... yummy! hehe =)

19. Serve her breakfast in bed. Tell her you want to wake up next to her every day of your life.

awww... Goodluck guys!

hmmmm...though everyday there are less and less women who take notice of poetry...or perhaps it was due to my bad poetry.

hmmmm...there is no bad poetry... because it says all the hidden thoughts buried within us..though timing is important in delivering a certain poetry...hehe..
